Dr. Formica is now with the Hartford Healthcare Medical Group in Bristol Ct.
I have been a patient of Dr. Formica for several months. (I am now changing rheumatologists to begin seeing a doctor who is closer to my home.)
Dr. F. is usually right on time for appointments. He seems fully competent and up to current in the specialty. His manner can be a little abrupt and he is given to mutter a quick random word or phrase from his thoughts that he may think you don't get, but overall he is very assured and professional. I would recommend writing down your concerns and questions before the appointment so you can cover things thoroughly while he is with you. He does genuinely care about his patients from what I can tell. If you need to lose weight he is likely to be blunt about that.
